Product description: Ultra/high molecular weight polyethylene sheet is an engineering plastic with excellent properties, such as high wear resistance, impact resistance, low friction coefficient, good self-lubricating properties, excellent low temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance , not sticky, and has good physiological circulation and physiological adaptability. Currently widely used in electric power, ports, coking, coal, paper, textile, chemical and other industries.
The properties of ultra/high molecular weight polyethylene sheet:
1) The wear resistance ranks first in plastics, 4 times higher than nylon 66 and PTFE, and 6 times higher than carbon steel;
2) The impact strength ranks first in plastics, which is 2 times that of PC and 5 times that of ABS, and can maintain high toughness at liquid nitrogen temperature (-196 ℃);
3) The self-lubricating property is equivalent to that of PTFE, and the friction coefficient is only 0.07-0.11;
4) The impact energy absorption value is high among all plastics, and the noise reduction effect is very good;
5) The chemical stability is very high, and it can resist the action of various corrosive media and organic media within a certain temperature and concentration range;
6) Strong anti-adhesion ability, second only to PTFE;
7) Completely hygienic and can be used for contact with food and medicine;
8) Excellent corrosion resistance, low friction coefficient, small specific gravity, and good resistance to high energy radiation. Ultra/high molecular weight polyethylene is chemically stable, and can be corroded by various corrosive media such as acid, alkali, salt and organic solvents within a certain temperature and concentration range;
9) Ultra/high molecular weight polyethylene has physiological circulation and physiological adaptability.
10) Non-adhesive;
11) When the molecular weight of HDPE exceeds 500,000, the embrittlement temperature drops to 140°C. Ultra/high molecular weight polyethylene can even under the action of liquid nitrogen, its service temperature can reach below 269 ℃, and still has a certain mechanical strength.
